How was the rest of your New Year's Eve celebration?
Here, we had a very colorful and noisy New Year's Eve. Firecrackers and fireworks transformed the streets into war zones. From atop our house, the view is like the CNN footage of Baghdad in the Gulf War. New Year's Eve Philippine-style isn't for the faint-hearted! But after the revelry, we feast on lots of food and a little alcohol.
The previous year 2007 has been a very colorful and fruitful one. I started it happily and hopefully. I learned new skills like driving and swimming. I hope that this year 2008 will be a better one and I wish for more good things to come.
I wish the same luck to the three of you and your family.

Oh, wait a second... I thought you said "Tama Bridge"! So you're still in Australia, eh?
Anyway, nevermind if I'm slightly hard-of-hearing today because of last night's revelry.
I saw the fireworks display from the Sydney Harbour Bridge on CNN last night and all I can say is that nothing really beats the Sydney fireworks.
